In the event of an accident the standard excess for a Passenger Vehicle is $2750. This excess can be reduced to only $550 for a fee of $22 per day. As with Passenger Vehicles, Commercial Vehicles, Trucks and Buses are also eligible for a reduced excess from $3300 to $550 for a fee of $33 per day of hire.
